Bila membuat semakan fail (bayar dahulu), (assuming you know the whereabouts of the file - ask the judge's secretary, for example) anda tidak boleh fotostat (kena bayar dulu utk fotostat) minit, hanya boleh tulis tangan. Anda boleh fotostat dokumen dalam fail, tapi bukan minit. Tulisan tangan hakim mengenai alasan penghakiman juga adalah minit. Jika tulisan judge terlalu teruk untuk dibaca, padanlah dengan muka anda.

Next time :

1. call up the secretary/court interpreter if the file has already been sent to registry. Call up the day before the day you plan to travel;
2. pendaftaran sivil OCVC/NCVC( ?). Get the form to make payment for semakan/fotokopy (at different places depending on OCVC, NCVN). The person in charge must sign his/her approval on the form.
3. make payment at payment counter;
4. Make your search/fotocopy;

In Seremban, I can always call the clerk in charge and give notice to them that I intend to do a file search. When the file is ready he/she will call me up, show me the file at the counter, and say the price of fotocopy costs together with fee semakan, to be paid first before searching and fotocopying.
